A year has passed. Last
summer's wilderness experience recommended by
Ms. Spraetz enabled our son to discover his
passion for the outdoors. Our son became a
serious student and made excellent grades last
semester utilizing an intensive tutoring
program Ms. Spraetz had
recommended. He independently evaluated and
applied to several four-year colleges, and will
be transferring to the one he most wanted to
attend. Ms. Spraetz, continuing to
show genuinely personal interest in him, has
kept up with his progress and communicates with
him periodically.
Because she seems to have forged somewhat of a
miracle in our son's life, we heartily endorse
the career counseling services of Ms. Spraetz.
Student comment
During our meetings, Ms. Spraetz introduced me
to a university I had never heard of before, but
it ended up being perfect for me! Not only was
it the right fit for my personality, but it was
also the right fit for me academically. Ms.
Spraetz did a great job of finding good schools
that were also in my range, and the search was
fun and exciting. Class of 2006 student from
Dunwoody High School.
Parent of a high school female
Leigh Anne kept the college search process
focused and productive. She used an organized
timetable and probed my daughter to evaluate and
explore what she wanted from her college. Leigh
Anne was knowledgeable about the colleges and
the student-life atmosphere. She knew what the
colleges were looking for and what my daughter
would need to do to accomplish admittance to the
college of her choice. As a result, my daughter
was accepted to every college to which she
applied.

We were actually talking about Ms. Spraetz with friends up here. They have an
eighth grade daughter with LD. The mother is
actually the liaison for learning disability
programs in one of our school districts but was
amazed at the breadth of programs that Ms.
Spraetz was able to find for our son. We think
that even from a distance, she did a better job
than anyone we know of up here.
